With a title like – fun family portraits at home with jeep, skateboards, and bikes – you know it’s gonna be a good one! I had the honor of taking pictures of the Sheehan Family at their home in Orlando, Florida before moving to Atlanta earlier this year. Kevin was my church’s youth pastor for the past couple of years, and I am so thankful for this family’s time, sacrifice, and fun they poured into our church community. I loved getting to know this family during their time in Florida. We were sad to see them go, but I admire how they followed the Lord’s calling to Atlanta to be a part of a new church!

This is one of my favorite family shoots of all time because it’s so action-packed, energetic, unique, and colorful! Kevin designs custom skateboards, so he wanted to incorporate that into some of his family’s pictures. His company is called Vintage AV boards, named after a street they lived on in Greenville, South Carolina. The shot of their whole family holding up one of Kevin’s custom boards is just so fun! And so very “Florida” to me! Fun fact – a company called Red Tricycle asked to use this photo for their website, a resource for the coolest things to do, eat, and see with your family in your local community.

The Sheehan family loves to play outside as much as possible, and ride bikes all the time, so I love the shots of Kevin & Harper riding his motorcycle. Talk about a cool dad! And a really fun father, daughter memory! One of the most unique family portraits I’ve ever taken is the picture of the whole family crawling all over Kevin’s vintage, white Jeep! I couldn’t love those pictures more. I think these pictures will be important for many years to come because you can see their Florida home in the background, the whole family looks so Florida in their tanks and dresses, and it just captures what their time in Orlando looked like!
